2003 left-bank bordeaux at seven

As trailed in my Great communicators video, Farr Vintners organised a revealing blind tasting of almost 100 of the top left-bank red bordeaux from the controversial 2003 vintage recently. The picture shows the thoroughly disconcerting burgundy bottles into which some of the wines were decanted for the tasting. They decided to give the right bank a miss because St-Émilions and Pomerols were generally more badly affected by the August heatwave than the wines of the Médoc and Graves.
