Some absolute crackers from France

Yesterday I went to a tasting of French wines chosen by my British wine writing peers and found it fascinating - real vindication of the variety, integrity and in some cases value of French wine. It would be impossible to imagine any other country managing to mount such a wide range of flavours, styles and prices. I came across a few plums for your delectation (see below), many good wines, and of course there was ample opportunity to rate the wine writers as well as the wines. (“Why on earth did she choose that?” etc)   Absolutely Cracking Wines from France is a clever idea dreamt up by the London...
