Lunar lore in modern Burgundy
People like Dominique Lafon, Christophe Roumier and Jean-Marie Fourrier are thoroughly normal, 21 st century young(ish) men. They travel the world and have friends all over the place. They drive fast cars, communicate by email and have websites. And yet they wouldn’t dream of bottling their wines, or performing any important task in the cellar or vineyard when the moon is full, and allow the lunar cycle to dictate how they grow their vines and make their wine.
