Mainly Mitolo
Allow me to present a selection of South Australian reds (and one rosé) – mainly from Mitolo. I’m publishing these tasting notes inspired by Roger Jones’s paean of praise to Mitolo, and Mt Billy, published here yesterday. As you will see, I am not quite as smitten as Roger is by the entire Mitolo range but I do think that the team have an admirably clear vision of how they want these wines to taste and I really appreciate the precision of the style, derived from Willunga in McLaren Vale and Greenock in Barossa.
