Burgundy 2005 tasting notes - H-K
Julia Harding MW and I have tasted a total approaching 1,500 different samples of 2005 burgundy – mainly in London last week but I also spent a week in Burgundy in December tasting at the grander addresses. All of these notes have been collated below. The majority are mine. Julia’s are signified with a ‘(JH)’ at the end of the note. Where a wine was tasted more than once I have included all the notes separately and have kept the scores and drinking dates as they occurred during each separate tasting occasion, even if they differ, so as to give you maximum information on which to base buying decisions.
