How to taste the 2006 primeurs without going to Bordeaux
North London wine merchants Bibendum seem to have stumbled on rather a winning formula with their inaugural consumer tasting of bordeaux en primeur last year. They are repeating the exercise this year, at the Nursery End of Lords Cricket Ground, London NW8 (nearest tube St John’s Wood, entrance just south of the Wellington Hospital) on Wednesday April 25 from 4 to 8pm.
Interest in 2006s is not expected to be anything like as feverish as in 2005s but many wine lovers will doubtless be intrigued at the possibility of tasting a glamorous range of young 2006 bordeaux (confirmed châteaux showing their wines...
