Southern Rhône 2005s - a second tranche
Some more tasting notes on the toothsome 2005 vintage, in the Southern Rhône this time. See also the second tranche of notes on the Northern Rhône . The majority of them are from Julia Harding (JH). Wines are listed as usual alphabetically by domaine, whites before reds.

65% Grenache, 25% Syrah,10% Carignan. Dense black fruit and vanilla (but there are food smells in the background as I taste, so my sense of smelll may be distracted)....
