Bordeaux 2006 tasting notes - where to find them
All the tasting notes we amassed during our week in Bordeaux are now published, amounting to nearly 450 different wines, tasted variously once, twice and occasionally three times, the majority by both me and Julia, sometimes just by Julia, in which case they are suffixed (JH). Wherever possible we tasted blind. Comparing notes afterwards we did not disagree often and certainly not by much. For those few wines where our scores differed by more than one point out of 20 I looked at our notes, compiled an amalgam and have tended to err on the side of generosity towards the wine.
