Léoville and Langoa leap in

As expected, the much-loved Bartons as usual release their wines ahead of the pack at reasonably predictable, if robust, prices. If you want either of these wines (and they were both looking really excellent in early April) jump in NOW.   The first releases of 2006s are available from this morning from UK merchants at prices around £380-400 a dozen in bond for Léoville Barton  2006 (34% down in terms of release price from the property on 2005 and 50% up on the 2004 price) and £295-325 for Langoa (31% down on 2005 and 58% up on the 2004 price).
