German Auslese, BA and TBA 2005s – the tasting notes

  The following wines were tasted under the auspices of The World of Fine Wine as described as The tasting that called for finger bowls in inside information. They are listed in the order they were tasted, a difficult order to come up with but one apparently based on the analyses supplied to the magazine. We tasted blind, knowing only the quality category and the region. As you can see, some producers dominated in terms of quantity of samples supplied and, tragically, a box of some of the Mosels finest was smashed en route.
