Wines from some top Israeli producers

Here are my tasting notes from my short but concentrated wine trip to Israel last year. See Israeli wine – not necessarily kosher for an introduction to the Israeli wine scene.   Producers are listed in alphabetical order. Most of the wines were tasted at Israel’s first ever International Wine Fair, others on visits to wineries in Galilee and the Judean Hills. Recommended producers not discussed below include Castel, Amphorae, Odem Mountain, Tabor (in which Coca Cola has a 51% stake) and Yatir , a joint venture between Carmel and local vintners at the southern tip of the Judean Hills.  ...
