Conti Costanti's Brunellos - 2003 back to 1988

The Costanti estate is just outside the town of Montalcino and has been in Andrea Costanti’s family for more than two centuries. It is relatively high altitude and on generally rocky soil (galestro). Since the late 1990s the consultant oenologist has been Vittoria Fiore, who has been modernising the style to a certain extent.

Sweet and floral, but a bit heavy and not appetising. A dry end. This relative brute will be released next year.
