Ubuntu – Napa’s only vegetarian restaurant
After reading about Jancis’ over-the-top dinner at the French Laundry , I feel somewhat virtuous in reporting on my meal this week at the new Ubuntu restaurant, Napa’s only vegetarian restaurant. There wasn’t an alfalfa sprout, grain of brown rice or faux piece of meat in evidence, thankfully, just expertly prepared, flavourful dishes, half of which are suitable for vegans, for whom dairy and eggs are off-limits.
