First Class Australian reds

Below are tasting notes, as I took them when tasting blind (including some guesses as to origin)  more than 40 Australian red wines submitted for serving throughout 2008 in British Airways First Class cabin. As usual they were tasted single blind, organised in groups of Cabernets, blends and Shirazes. I list them below all mixed up, alphabetically by producer, by surname if appropriate.   Even though some wines just didn’t have enough star quality to warrant serving in First Class, I was pretty impressed by the selection overall.
