2001 bordeaux - all the top wines assessed

Here are my tasting notes on a fascinating blind tasting of 149 top 2001s. See also my overview of the tasting and the vintage.   Wines are listed within flight in declining order of my sc ore, and alphabetically by château name for wines with the same score.   MEDOC Some greenness and relatively marked under-ripe tannins and acidity without much real palate weight.   Ch Chasse Spleen 2001 Médoc 15 Drink 2008-13 Healthy, quite deep crimson. Lots of tannin and not THAT much substance but very well put together. A good drink that will be ready soon. Just slightly inky...
