California - some current trends

I was (twice) briefly in California recently and thought I’d jot down some impressions of current issues that are probably so much part of the furniture for Linda Murphy that she feels it hardly worth reporting on them. It seems as though California is one place where the term ‘global warming’ should definitely be replaced by the more accurate ‘ climate change’ . The idea that as temperatures inland rise they will draw in more cool Pacific influence to coastal regions is gaining currency, helped by the recent succession of three relatively cool vintages in succession.
