Best burgundy 2006 buys Part 1
Julia had the toughest day yesterday, at both the Bouchard/Fèvre/Guigal tasting (no, Guigal don’t make Burgundy but they share a UK importer with the first two) while I concentrated on Berry Bros’ annual burgundy tasting, and filmed some revealing clips for your future delectation.
I must say that I went into the tasting having heard and read a lot about how charming the 2006 reds are and, having tasted only a few (including some real charmers at Dom des Comtes Lafon, my hopes were high.
