Australia to lead price increases? - video
Julia and I spent yesterday in an unusual location, the new Emirates Stadium, Arsenal’s home ground where this year’s annual London Australian tasting was held. We concentrated on wines we are told represent the future of Australia, those with real personality, many from cooler areas and smaller, less well-known producers. We will of course be publishing our impressions and tasting notes (though New Zealand, at the end of next week, comes first). I couldn’t help noticing, incidentally, that the greatest concentration of wine commentators was to be found in the room devoted to Riesling.
