Feb 12 - see also More bright stars from New Zealand . The following are about 50 interesting New Zealand wines tasted recently. It’s perhaps significant that whites do not seriously outnumber reds nowadays (one more sign of climate change?). Of course there are dozens if not hundreds of labels on perfectly satisfactory and very popular Marlborough Sauvignon but I have noted only those Sauvignons that seem to be a bit out of the ordinary.
