Montrose 2003 - at ease
I had the chance to re-taste Ch Montrose 2003 in Hong Kong and it was as it should be: very dense and concentrated yet with unusual freshness for a 2003, quite exceptional for the vintage. The bottle tasted prior to Bonham's sale and reported with disappointment here for its lack of mid palate impact must have been out of condition so I will with your permission ensure that the note in that recent article is not added to the tasting note database.
