Professional wine storage in Paris
David Rayer, French air-traffic controller and true amateur de vin (he is involved at Grains Nobles, the wine school set up in Paris by wine writer Michel Bettane), sent the following recommendations for wine storage in Paris. He pointed out that some people suggest that cellars in central Paris may suffer from vibration caused by the metro, although Au Bonheur du Vin (see below) specifically refute this for their cellar, in a phrase which makes it all sound very peaceful: Nous garantissons le repos complet du vin.
