Bordeaux 2007 - the tasting notes

As purple pagers who have been viewing our recent videos know, Julia and I spent a total of 14 woman-days in Bordeaux last week in and around the usual primeurs circus . We each tasted well over 400 wines, a total of 530 - and blind whenever possible (which it usually was). Some wines were tasted as many as three times although it was not possible to taste wines such as first growths more than once. Generally we found a heartening degree of consistency in our impressions of wines from the extremely varied 2007 vintage (a vintage SO unlike 2005!)....
