Bordeaux 2007 - St-Émilion

To find other Bordeaux 2007 tasting notes, click here . Here are our notes on 140 wines from the extensive St-Émilion appellation and a few from the satellites Montagne- and Lussac-St-Émilion. Most of these wines were tasted blind, some of them as many as four times.   As usual in this large and very geologically varied area (see the new map on page 111 of the 6th edition of The World Atlas of Wine) there is a bit of everything in here, not least some very drying oak tannins.
