Ronda's hula hoop vines - video
In the members' forum we have been discussing the vineyard development planned by those who underwrote the recent Ronda conference so I thought I'd publish the short video I filmed of one of the vineyards so far planted there.
Here you see Jose Luiz Perez Verdu of Mas Martinet in Priorat, who has been hired to oversee the project from a viticultural point of view. He personally designed this interesting vine training system, which I have never seen anywhere else, dubbed 'hula-hoop' by Michel Bettane, seen here with Peter Sisseck of Pingus, Alvaro Palacios of L'Ermita and Eleanora Scholes, Russian wine writer.
