Hubert de Boüard - a very busy man

Observers of the Bordeaux scene may have noticed that Hubert de Boüard de Laforest, co-owner of Ch Angélus with his cousin Jean-Bernard Grenié, seems to have been getting busier and busier – and not just minding the accents on his complicated name. He was prominent in the whole St-Émilion classification fandango in his position as president of the Syndicat Viticole des Vins de St-Émilion (just renamed Conseil rather than Syndicat Viticole with de Boüard handing over presidency to Jean-François Quenin of Ch de Pressac last Friday).
