This book may be subtitled 'The Mystery of the World's Most Expensive Bottle of Wine' but I am deeply indebted to Benjamin Wallace, author of the latest account of the Rodenstock affair, The Billionaire’s Vinegar, for solving one of my life’s many mysteries.
