Greek profiles 2 - Boutari, Naoussa
Following my introduction to the Greek region of Macedonia in The right road to northern Greece , this is the second in a series of producer potraits. In the first one I looked at Kir-Yianni and now it's the turn of Boutari, the large family firm from which Kir-Yianni was spawned.
Boutari Wineries was stablished in Naoussa in 1879 and was the first wine company to be quoted on the Athens stock exchange.
