Earlier this summer I travelled across the region of Macedonia in northern Greece, introduced here . Over the next few weeks we will be publishing brief portraits of the nine wineries I visited, with tasting notes on a selection of their wines. One of the hottest topics of debate with all the producers was how to promote Greek grape varieties on the export market, as discussed in more detail in Greece backs indigenous varieties .
