Current - and deceased - white burgundies
We seem to be discussing white burgundy with some frequency on the forum at the moment, so I thought it might be interesting to publish my notes on a blind tasting of more than 60 white burgundies submitted to British Airways last February for serving in their First Class cabin from now until August 2009. As usual, there was a certain proportion of wines way past their sell by date, submitted in the completely ludicrous hope that we might not notice.
