A luscious Langhe lesson for the Brits

It is a regrettable fact that, despite Walter Speller's best efforts to inform and educate the British visitors to this website, in the UK most of us are pitifully ignorant about Italian wine compared with (a) how much we tend to know about French and antipodean wine and (b) how familiar our American counterparts are with the fine wines of Italy. We're getting a little better at getting to know some of Italy's bargains, lesser central Italians and the wines of southern Italy and Sicily, but, despite the best efforts of the likes of importers Astrum, Enotria, Liberty, Winetraders...
