Montilla PX - tasting notes
See related thread in Members' forum Below are notes on one of the world’s great undiscovered treasures, described in more detail here . The wines described below are more than 20 of the most prominent really sweet PXs made in the Montilla-Moriles region in Andalucia (although look out too for the exceptional and slightly tangier PXs matured in Jerez). These tasting notes were taken in London on 8 Jun 2008 and in April in the bodegas of Alvear and Pérez Barquez in Montilla.
