Hubert de Bouard on 2008
On Wednesday evening this week Farr Vintners held a great comparative tasting of top 2005 bordeaux in Vintners' Hall, London on which I will be reporting.
In the meantime though I thought you might be interested to hear what Hubert de Bouard of Ch Angelus et al had to say, bravely, about the 2008 harvest in Bordeaux. The sudden loss of background noise during this brief interview was due to the announcement that the wines had been poured and the gathered throng, who had paid £450 a ticket, were at last allowed in to the Hall.
