Quinta do Noval in glorious sunshine
The wines described below were tasted over two days at the end of September at Quinta do Noval with Christian Seely , thanks to a long anticipated and wholeheartedly enjoyed prize . The two main tastings – such a treat not to have to rush – comprised a fine line- up of many of the wines that have been made since Seely took over as director of Noval on behalf of AXA Millésimes. (Christian is pictured here with his very charming wife Corinne, a French oenologist who makes the white wines at Quinta da Romaneira, Seely's personal project just down the road from Noval.)
