Burghound barks
London wine importers Goedhuis introduced British Burgundy lovers to Allen Meadows, the American behind www.burghound.com last Tuesday night. They preceded a dinner that included eight fine burgs with a frenetic tasting of verticals of some of Burgundy's finest (it was hard work battling to get as many tasting notes as possible for your delectation on to my trusty laptop - notes next week) and then punctuated the dinner with supremely detailed discourses from the Burgundy-mad ex CFO Mr Meadows, who currently commutes between Los Angeles and Burgundy.
