Evening Land - a name to watch

Evening Land Vineyards is an exciting and extremely ambitious new project that spans some first class Pinot Noir sites in Oregon and California. The operation, led by former Hollywood producer/director and speech-writer Mark Tarlov, back in 2005 acquired the small but highly prized Occidental vineyard on the Sonoma Coast from Dutton , who used to lease it to Kistler. The 3.5-acre vineyard near Bodega, south and west of such notable producers as Flowers and Marcassin, is at a cool 1,000 feet and therefore frequently above the Pacific fogs.
