Jaboulet on 2008
Yesterday I went to a most enjoyable tasting of mainly cask samples from the new regime at Jaboulet organised by UK importers Liberty Wine at Theo Randall's restaurant in London's Intercontinental Hotel. It gave me a chance to ask Nicolas Jaboulet who is responsible for exporting the wines and their winemaker Jacques Desvernois about vintages 2008 and 2007 in the northern Rhone. I'll publish their observations on the 2007 vintage tomorrow.
