Burgundy 2007 quality - video
After Chairman Blair on prices of the 2007 burgundies, here is Roy Richards of Richards Walford, who import wines from so many of the better Burgundy producers, on his view of the quality of the wines in 2007. (I know that everyone will be talking up the whites, which are generally showing better than the reds among the wines on show in London this week, but I tasted some really lovely reds at top domaines in Burgundy in November - wines that will provide beautiful drinking fairly early but in a style that only Pinot Noir can offer. I'm also very heartened by the number of new and exciting producers.)
