Jancis the cat and Oz the goat
Yesterday morning here in Central Otago, New Zealand, I had the pleasure of visitng Felton Road for the second time and tasting their 2007s plus an impressive vertical of their Block 3 Pinot Noir. Tasting alongside me was Andalucian Raul Moreno Yague, wine director of Vue du Monde restaurants in Melbourne and, soon, Singapore. He told the story of how the Jerezanos invited him all the way from Australia to be trained over four days as a sherry ambassador and were most impressed by how well he spoke Spanish.
