California Pinot Noirs

Pinot Noir is of course flavour of the year in the US. So much so that we don't see too many American Pinots on the British side of the Atlantic. But at a recent tasting of American red wines for British Airways first class, a number of Pinots from California were submitted and my notes appear below, in alphabetical order of producer name. I found the overall quality much better than the last time I tasted a similar selection of US Pinots for BA. Those submitted for this tasting anyway seemed much drier and more interesting than they used to be. Artesa Pinot Noir 2007 Carneros 14.5 Drink 2009-10 Very dark....
