Portugal in magnum
As I explained in What we're up to next week , I spent much of last weekend with my nose in a glass of Portuguese wine and will be reporting in more detail next month on the 100+ wines I tasted. My tasting was in two sessions. Much of the Saturday was spent in the Düsseldorf cellar described in Fine Portuguese wines - an historic perspective tasting almost 100 modern Portuguese wines out of bottle, many of them white.
