As I explained in What we're up to next week , I had the most unnecessary job of my life last Saturday morning, co-hosting a celebration at Vinitaly of a wine tasting to celebrate the 150th annniversary of Gaja, the most famous wine producer of Piemonte, arguably of Italy.
