See Part 2 , my notes on 36 2007 vintage ports - JR Three port companies - Fladgate, Symington and Noval - shared a room last week to declare the 2007 vintage and offer previews of their best wines. The show was a strong one, with self-evident quality on display in the glass, supported by some fascinating information about the vintage and the current market. Christian Seely of AXA Millésimes (custodians of Noval ) described the relatively rainy 2007 growing season as a welcome respite from the previous two drier years, as water levels were crucially replenished.
