Penfolds' latest top releases - TNs
Below are my tasting notes from last Friday's showing of Penfolds latest releases of its so-called Luxury and Icon wines, including the exceptional 2004 Grange. I have given some background in italics as well as the recommended UK retail price and Penfolds official UK stockists. Penfolds, Riesling Bin 51 2008 Eden Valley 17 Drink 2009-14
From Penfolds' High Eden Vineyard just below Moutadam. Some of these vines were planted by David Wynn, way back.
Pale greenish straw. Peachy fruit quality plus a fine German Riesling...
