Latour in London
Last weekend saw a serious attack on vintages from Ch Latour's own cellar at the Greenhouse restaurant in Mayfair, London. Its owner Marlon Abela apparently wanted to start a series of top wine dinners with a splash (as though this Penfolds Grange blowout last October was not enough) so ordered a panoply of bottles for a Friday night dinner featuring the grand vin Ch Latour, and a Saturday morning tasting of Les Forts de Latour.
