The beauty of Oxford

19 Jun 2009 by Jancis Robinson

I couldn't resist filming this extraordinary setting for a recent birthday party of an old friend of mine: the Divinity School that is part of Oxford University's Bodleian Library (named after Sir Thomas Bodley).  This beautiful building was constructed between 1427 and 1483 and is apparently the oldest surviving purpose-built building for university use.  It was a breathtaking experience to spend an evening here.  Tourists may visit it during the day.
