IPNC 2009
Last weekend I spent in McMinnville, Oregon, as MC of this year's IPNC (enough initials for you?). It was great to see so many old friends and to taste so many good wines, most but not all based on Pinot Noir. The greatest, most complete wine I tasted has to be that alluded to below, though perhaps the most majestic was the de Vogüé 2006 Musigny as part of a presentation of the wines of that domaine by cerebral winemaker François Millet with frequent forum contributor David Schildknecht.
