A summery summary of wines from British importer and agent Stone, Vine & Sun follow below. The high percentage of South African inclusions reflects the fact that the purchases from their recent buying trip had just arrived in the UK, and includes some 2009 Sauvignons, the tasting equivalent of hearing the first cuckoo in spring. Generally, though, it was the reds that I found most palatable, with some good-value finds from Franschhoek and one from the Vin de Pays du Gard, cited as GV in the notes.
