Piemonte - mainly 2005s
Here, in a hurry and very sketchily proofread, are the notes I took at last night's J&B tasting of the wines in their current Italian and Iberian offer. I thought those interested would treasure speed over perfection and I therefore apologise in advance for the typos. I concentrated on their wines from Piemonte but they are also offering wines from Tuscany, Terre Nere from Sicily and from all over Spain, plus Pinhal da Torre from Ribatejo in Portugal. The picture is of Voerzio's distinctive Dolcetto Priavino label, but the 2004 rather than the current, 2008, vintage. All prices per case in bond.
