A typical generic tasting
This was the scene at last week's Wines of Chile annual generic tasting. In London we're in peak season for generic tastings, with Argentina this week and South Africa early next month.
I spoke to Karen Wise, who is a key member of Wines of Chile UK, headed with great enthusiasm by Michael Cox. (His twin brother David now occupies exactly the same position for New Zealand as reported in Twins go head to head .) There is keen competition between each of the generic bodies.
