Do Australian wines age?

The following are notes on a tasting given by Mark Davidson at the annual Society of Wine Educators' gathering in Sacramento, designed to show how well Australian wines can age. (I referred to it in a brief note in Richard's article on Yalumba - wines that last published a week ago.) It certainly achieved its aim, even if, in the case of the Rieslings, it also highlighted the deficiencies of cork. For your interest, I have retained all the background information provided. I ran out of time, or rather, I was not allowed to take my glasses out of the room because of the hotel's licensing restrictions, so did not get to taste...
